First day of your last period The day your period started, not the day it finished.

Usual cycle length, in days Count from the first day of one period up to the day before your next period starts. For example, if your period started on the 1st and the next on the 29th, your cycle is 28 days. If you're not sure, leave it at 28.

My periods vary, my cycle is shorter than 21 or longer than 35 days, or I'm not sure of the date. We'll use 28 days and show a rough estimate.
